Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace

An alcohol and drug-free policy helps employees understand the standards and expectations of the workplace, illustrates management’s commitment to safety and—most importantly—protects both you and your employees. Under workers compensation law in many states, workers compensation benefits can be reduced or even eliminated if drugs or alcohol were involved in the injury, but employers MUST HAVE a written drug-free workplace policy.
